SAVANNAH, GA—St. Vincent's Academy welcomes Jason Helton as its new Head Basketball Coach. Helton brings extensive coaching experience and achievements in both high school and college basketball.
Helton started his coaching career at the University of Georgia, where he worked as an undergraduate assistant during the Bulldogs' successful 2002 season. The team won the SEC Championship and had a 22-10 overall record.
Helton started his career at Armstrong State University before taking head coaching positions at Windsor Forest High School, Benedictine Military School, and The Habersham School. During his time at Benedictine Military School, Helton achieved two significant accomplishments: leading the Cadets to their first regional title while guiding them to a 22-4 season that became the best in program history.
Under his leadership at The Habersham School, he reconstructed the basketball team to win two regional championships and advance to the Elite Eight state playoffs. He served as Director of Athletics and Head Basketball Coach at Hancock Day School before his current position, which solidified his position as a successful program developer and leadership figure.

Helton's leadership abilities, extensive experience, and track record of developing competitive teams will help sustain excellence at St. Vincent's. St. Vincent's Academy would like everyone to welcome Coach Helton to the St. Vincent's community.
