SVA takes down Hilton Head Christian Academy

St. Vincent's Academy's volleyball teams had their first home games of the 2020 season on August 18t against Hilton Head Christian Academy.

The varsity team followed up with a hard fought victory in a two ouf of three match (21-25, 25-17,15-10) over Hilton Head Christian's varsity. The St. Vincent's varsity girls then swept Effingham County (25-13; 25-16) in a best two of three match.

For St. Vincent's, Emma Cowart had 9 kills, 6 blocks, and 2 aces; Catherine Moore had 13 kills and 2 aces; Anastasia Thaller had 7 kills; and Mattie Lynch had 7 kills and 4 blocks.

The Saints' next game will be against Hilton Head Christian Academy on August 25.
