SAVANNAH, GA, 4/17/24 – The Habersham School proudly announces the appointment of Michael Jaudon as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach. With a deep passion for basketball and a commitment to excellence both on and off the court, Jaudon brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success to his new role.

"I am honored and humbled to be the next Boys Head Basketball Coach at The Habersham School," expressed Jaudon. "As a Savannah native, I’ve witnessed from afar the growth and sustained excellence since The Habersham School first opened its doors. This is an incredible opportunity, and one that I think will be a perfect fit both for myself and for my family."

Throughout his coaching journey, Jaudon has been guided by a commitment to mentorship and player development. "Habersham is a school that has proven itself to be a place where parents and faculty alike are passionate about the success of their students both on the basketball court and off of it," he remarked. "I am excited to continue nurturing young athletes and helping them reach their full potential, both as players and as individuals."

Jaudon's faith is an integral part of his coaching philosophy, and he is grateful for the opportunity to strengthen his relationship with Jesus Christ at The Habersham School. "Habersham not only allows me to continue strengthening my relationship with Jesus Christ, the school encourages it," he affirmed. "My family and I have prayed about it, and we believe God is calling us to The Habersham School."

Athletics Director Susan Barry expressed her enthusiasm for Jaudon's appointment, stating, "I am thankful and excited to have Michael Jaudon as our new Varsity Boys Basketball coach! It was evident from our very first conversation that he cares deeply about investing in the lives of the young men he coaches. He certainly loves the game of basketball, but he values the hearts of the players more than any wins or losses his teams may experience. The more we talked, the more I also came to see that he is a man marked by humility and courage, love of family and an ever-growing walk with Christ, and I know he will be a blessing to all the boys he coaches!”

With basketball season on the horizon, Coach Jaudon is eager to lead the Patriots to success. "Now, basketball season is right around the corner. I’m ready to start, and I look forward to leading a basketball program at The Habersham School that students, fans, faculty, and alumni can all be proud of. Go Patriots!"
