Tormenta FC 08 Boys placed first in the regular season play in both the National Premier League and Piedmont League.

The team showed a great deal of depth and determination as they competed against the very best teams in the Southeast region. The NPL East Championship was the final tournament of the season where Tormenta finished in second place.
The championship game was truly a display of “leave it all on the field”. Exciting, fast paced, and moving the ball in a strategic fashion. Leading up to the game, Tormenta FC ’08 Boys beat teams from up and down the East coast in a true display of fantastic play and sportsmanship.
The team went down 1-0 late in the second half of the final and Tormenta unfortunately was unable to find the back of the net. A terrific effort from a talented group of young men, who will have the opportunity to participate in the MLS NEXT league this upcoming season.
Although the season was challenging both on and off the field, Tormenta exemplified true chemistry and “they communicate with each other and they sacrifice personal glory for a common goal”.
