Savannah's Jack Weeks made a 5-foot putt for par on the second hole of a sudden death playoff to win the Boys 14-15 age group at the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour's Jekyll Island Fall Junior Open played September 23-24 on the Indian Mound course at Jekyll Island Golf Club.
Weeks, a freshman at Benedictine, carded scores of 74-74 to finish 4-over par for two rounds and tied with Sea Island's Charlie Suddath. Weeks led by 4 strokes with three holes to play, but Suddath played Nos. 16-18 in 2-under par to force the playoff.
After both players made par on the the first playoff hole, Weeks clinched the victory with a routine par.
