Richmond Hill's Price wins GAPPS state golf championship

Richmond Hill's Hayden Price, a homeschooled senior playing for The Habersham School, carded a score of 3-over 75 to win the Georgia Association of Private and Parochial Schools Division II female state championship at Mirror Lake Golf Club in Villa Rica, Ga., on April 5.

Price carded the lowest score for any girl in the field, besting Division I state champion Grace Outhavong from Creekside Christian Academy by two strokes. In Division II, she was 12 strokes better than runner up Sophia Cellini from Konos Academy.
