ATLANTA, Ga. – St. Vincent’s Academy varsity volleyball team dug up gold at the Georgia Tech Team Camp, going undefeated to win the Gold Bracket title, with rising senior Kaylyn Gill earning MVP honors.

The three-day camp pushed the Saints with high-level competition and demanding training. Friday featured individual position work, followed by team drills on Saturday, which included both offensive and defensive drills. That evening, St. Vincent’s began tournament play and won two matches. On Sunday, the Saints would win two more matches to claim a spot in the top bracket. They then swept their two Gold Bracket matches to seize the title.

“Our goal was to grow as a team, and we achieved that and more,” said head coach Sarah Stewart. “This camp really tested them, and we faced great competition. In the end, we united and finished with an awesome win.”

Gill’s all-around performance earned her the Gold Bracket MVP—an impressive highlight as the Saints prepare for the 2025 season.

“This experience will give us great momentum,” added Stewart. “I’m so proud of how the girls handled themselves. They’re awesome.”
