Kickoff in 4 Days: Week 1 Battles Posted & Team Capsules Drop Tomorrow!

Savannah, Ga. – The wait is almost over, Week 1 matchups are set, and your team capsules drop tomorrow. Fall football practice for Savannah area schools has wrapped up. Most scrimmages are finished, with only one remaining for Bethesda against Windsor Forest this week. The majority of Coastal Empire teams will take the field under the Friday Night Lights on August 15, while Calvary faces Beach High School in an opening region game at Georgia Southern University in a Korky Kell matchup on Saturday, August 16.

The Preps Sports Report will publish the 2025 football capsules tomorrow. Each capsule highlights key information about your favorite teams, including returning players, departures, coaching perspectives, and updated schedules. Don’t miss out—get ready for football season by checking out the capsules and the Week 1 schedule below. All games kick off at 7:30 pm unless noted.
