Guyton's Madi Saxton won her last event as a junior golfer, posting scores of 81-72 to win the Savannah Junior Golf Association Presented by First Tee Savannah Tim O'Neal Perserverance Cup event played July 21-22 at Crosswinds Golf Club.
It was the third and final event of the 2025 season for the Savannah Junior Golf Series, and winners of the inaugural Tim O'Neal Perserverance Cup were also named after the tournament.
Savannah's Morris Lane, a senior at St. Andrew's School, won for the second time in the series with scores of 79-72 and was awarded the Perserverance Cup in the Boys 15-18 division. In Girls 15-18, Richmond Hill's Ella Kate Woods finsihed runner up at Crosswinds with scores of 81-77 but took home the Perserverance Cup for Girls 15-18 after finishing first at the Savannah Golf Club and second at the Deer Creek course at the Landings Club.
In the Boys 11-14 age group at Crosswinds, Richmond Hill's Brayden Peterson won with scores of 87-93. With the win and his runner up finish at the Savannah Golf Club, Peterson also captured the Perserverance Cup for the age group.
In the Girls 11-14 age group, Richmond Hill's Shayna Patel won at Crosswinds with scores of 96-87, and the win coupled with her win at Deer Creek were enough to earn her the Perserverance Cup for the age group.
