The Georgia Coastal Aquatic Team (GCAT) produced outstanding results at the 2025 Georgia Swimming Age Group Long Course State Championships , which took place at the Columbus Aquatic Center from July 17–20. The 13-14 boys' team of GCAT won both relay and individual state titles, demonstrating their strong team performance and developing talent.
The 4x100 freestyle relay team consisting of Wesley Hatala, Thomas Dobson, Oliver Linn, and Sonny Shannon secured gold by finishing ahead of all other competitors by more than a body length.

Oliver Linn achieved a state title in the 200-meter freestyle event with a time of 2:02.59 during the 13-14 age group competition after improving from his preliminary time of 2:04.70.

Owen DeLoach achieved first place in the 100 backstroke event with a time of 1:19.68 while GCAT maintained its dominant performance throughout the competition.

Oliver Linn and Wesley Hatala received selection for the Georgia Zone Team according to GCAT head coach Bill Forrester. The selection process for swimmers occurs through their performance at qualifying meets which conclude the long course season. The selected swimmers will represent Georgia at the Southern Zone All-Star meet. The Southern Zone All-Star meet unites the best swimmers from different Local Swimming Committees (LSCs) throughout the region.
The GCAT State Champions achieved victory in their respective events. The swimmers demonstrated their position as top performers in Georgia through their multiple gold medals, exceptional swimming performances, and personal record achievements.
