Shonk signing with University of Pittsburgh for swimming

Savannah's Amy Shonk, a member of Savannah Swim Team, will be signing her National Letter of Intent (NLI) to swim collegiately at the University of Pittsburgh on November 12 at 4 pm at the Chatham County Aquatic Center. 

Shonk graduated a year early from Jenkins High School, and during her illustrious junior career, she compiled compiled an impressive resume that includes being a multi-time State Champion and a 4-Time USA Junior National Qualifier. She is also a two-time qualifier for the US National and US Open competitions.

Her talent was highlighted in 2020 when she was named to the USA Swimming Top 100 of All-Time in the Girls 13-14  50m Freestyle event. Shonk will next represent the Savannah Swim Team this December at the prestigious 2026 US Open in Austin, TX.
