Bethesda's Brooks wins SCISA 2A golf championship

Savannah's Quentin Brooks, a senior at Bethesda Academy, posted scores of 73-69 at the Hackler Course at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C., to to finish 2-under par and win the South Carolina Indpedent School Association Class 2A state golf championship.

Brooks, who represented the First Tee Savannah at the PGA Tour Champions Pure Insurance Championship played at Pebble Beach Golf Links in 2024, recently committed to play collegiate golf at Savannah State University.
