“We are extremely excited to have Michael join the team. He is an incredible driver, and even more impressive young man. The roots of this relationship go very deep into the racing history of the Carter and Frank families. Michael’s father Mickey, who is a very accomplished driver and car builder, built my first race car. He also was Dad’s crew chief for La Carrera win in 1992. To come full circle after so many years is special” said Team Owner AJ Frank
“I am very excited to be joining the Lowcountry Motorsports team at the Charlotte Roval here in a couple of weeks. It is very cool to be able to build on the racing history our families have together. I have to thank my supporters for making this opportunity happen and I am just really looking forward to having some fun on the Roval.” said Carter.
Lowcountry Motorsports, along with Carter have there sites set on making their debut with recently acquired equipment from Richard Childress Racing in the World Racing League 12 hour endurance race at the Charlotte Roval on June 29th. More exciting news coming soon! Stay tuned…
