The postseason is in full swing across Georgia, and Savannah-area teams are spread across the state this week, competing in GHSA state playoffs in lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and baseball. From early-round matchups on the lacrosse field to win-or-go-home contests in soccer and tennis, and best-of-three baseball series, local programs are looking to extend their seasons and make a push toward a state title.

As the week unfolds, it’s about execution, composure, and who can handle the moment. The margins get smaller this time of year, and every possession, point, and pitch matters. For Savannah-area teams, the path is clear: win and move on, or the season comes to an end.
