The Prep Sports Report wants you, the fans, to nominate your favorite high school baseball player who had an outstanding game or week on the baseball diamond for the season of 2023 by letting the Prep Sports Report Staff know.

HIGHLIGHT: On the mound against region rival Savannah Country Day on Thursday, March 9, 2023, Hampton pitched a complete game going seven innings, giving up three hits, one earned run, striking out six while walking two.
COACH'S COMMENT: "Will had another dominant performance on the mound," said Calvary Day School Head baseball coach Phillip Lee.

Player: Griffin Howe senior, Pitcher/Infielder
School: Effingham County High School

HIGHLIGHT: Against Glynn Academy, Howe went 6 for 11 (.540 batting average), with two doubles and three runs batted in the three-game series on March 6th, 8th, and 9th, 2023.
COACH'S COMMENT: "Griffin was incredible, we needed him to step up and he did in a big way," said Effingham County High School Head baseball coach Jesse Osborne.
