Area junior golfers earn high finishes SJGT event at Sanctuary

Richmond Hill's Ledger Conley carded a second-round score of 3-under par 69 to climbe the leaderboard and finish T6 finish in the boys 16-19 age group at the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour's Sanctuary Golf Club Junior Classic played March 9-10 at Sanctuary Golf Club in Waverly, Ga.

Conley, who posted scores of 76-69 to finish 1-over par for 36 holes, wasn't the only area junior golfer who played well and earned a top 10 finish. Savannah's Bear Dollander, a freshman at Benedictine Military School, carded scores of 72-74 to finish 2-over par and T8 in the Boys 16-19 age group. In other age groups, Savannah's Kohki Maeda, an 8th grader at Savannah Country Day School, posted scores of 76-76 to finish 8-over par and 8th in the Boys 14-15 age group, and Guyton's Madi Saxton finished with scores of 74-80 to finish 10-over par and T3 in the Girls 14-19 age group.
