Barrett finishes T17 at Georgia Women's Amateur

Richmond Hill's Hannah Barrett posted scores of 79-73-74 at Horseshoe Bend Country Club in Roswell, Ga., to finish T17 at the Georgia Women's Amateur Championship played June 30 - July 2. 

Barrett, who won the Georgia High School Association Class AAAAAA individual state championship as a junior, bounced back from her opening round to play the final 36 holes 3-over par. She has committed to play college golf at the University of West Georgia next year.

Savannah's Ava Cottis, a rising junior at Savannah Christian Preparatory School, made the cut and finished T52 after carding scores of 84-79-84. Former Richmond Hill golfer and two time Savannah City Amateur champion Erica Couch, now playing college golf at the University of West Georgia, also made the cut and finished T54 after scores of 80-84-85.
