Savannah's Chad Chadwell, a senior at Benedictine Military School, held off hard Savannah's Morris Lane September 7 to claim the club championship at the Savannah Country Club for the second straight year.
Lane, a senior at St. Andrew's School, led Chadwell by four strokes after Saturday's first round but Chadwell bounced back with a score of 3-over par 75 to narrowly overtake Lane by one stroke. Chadwell also won the club championship at Savannah Country Club in 2024.
In the Ladies club championship, Lane's sister, Savannah Lane, claimed the title with rounds of 77-75 to finish 10-over par. Savannah Lane is a freshman at St. Andrew's School who played on the high school varsity team as an 8th grader in 2025.
