BC, Dodson win Raider Invitational XCountry meet

Benedictine Military School's cross country team continued its winning ways at the Raider Invitational at Savannah Christian Preparatory School on September 26, led by junior John Dodson's individual victory by nearly a minute.

Dodson ran 16:46.75 to beat runner up Leo Tedder from Jenkins High School by nearly a full minute. BC placed four runners in the top 11 finishers, includng sophomore Asher Herrin in fourth, freshman Nikos Hanks in 10th and freshman Cole Minnich in 11th.

In the Girls' race, Savannah Arts Academy edged St. Vincent's Academy to win the team event, paced by junior Leah Nyce in second place, junior Elle Harwood-Grant in fourth, freshman Francie Tedder in fifth and junior Ava Thomas in ninth.

Coastal Middle School 8th grader Isaac Edris won the Boys' middle school race, and Savannah Christian 8th grader Grace Cunigan won the Girls' middle school race.
