BC golfers tied for first after first round of Lowcountry Invitational

The Benedictine golf team is tied for first place with Porter Gaud School from Charleston after the first round of the Lowcountry Invitational played at Berkeley Hall Golf Club in Okatie, S.C.
 
The second round will be played Tuesday at the Club at Savannah Harbor. There are four Cadets entered in the tournament, and the top three scores count toward the team score. 
 
BC's Nicholas Scarano carded a 1-under-par 71 in the first round, and Whit Watson birdied the 18th hole to post  Even-par 72. Full scores from BC:
 
Nicholas Scarano – 71
Whit Watson – 72
Hamp Threlkeld – 78
