Savannah's Finn Nixon, a junior at Benedictine Military School, posted scores of 74-70 to to finish second at the Drip Golf Tour's Pawleys Island Junior Championship played August 15-16 at Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club on Pawley's Island, S.C.
Nixon was a couple of strokes back after the first round and charged up the leaderboard thanks to a 2-under par 70 in the final round. It was one of only three under-par rounds during the tournament, and he had opportunities to tie the lead on each of the last three holes.
