Benedictine Military School's tennis team defeated East Forsyth High School by a count of 3-1 on April 28 at Bacon Park Tennis Complex in Savannah to advance to the elite eight of the Georgia High School Associaiton Class AAAA state tennis tournament.
In singles, BC winners included Lachlan McIntosh (6-4, 7-5) and Henry Montavon (4-6, 6-4, 6-3). in doubles, Marcos Simón and Christopher Cordasco won 6-4, 7-5 to clinch team's victory.
BC is set to play against the winner of the Pace Academy and Cambridge match in the Elite Eight round. The date, time, and location will be announced later.
