Benedictine, New Hampstead, and Islands athletes named to All-Region football teams

Savannh - Chatham County teams were well represented on the Georgia High School Association All-Region 3-AAAA football teams following the 2022 high school football season. Coaches chose the players selected players of the year, first team, second team, and honorable mention.

Benedictine Military School's Za'Quan Bryan, a senior, was chosen as the region player of the year. New Hampstead senior Pauly Seeley and Benedictine junior  Luke Kromenhoek were co-offensive players of the year. The defensive player of the year went to Benedictine senior defensive lineman Alijah Alexander.

Athletes from Savannah who made the first or second team are listed below and  honorable mentions. Benedictine had 15 players named first or second team. New Hampstead had seven, and Islands received two nominations.
