Benedictine's Chadwell T6 at Johnny Paulk Invitational

Led by senior Chad Chadwell's score of 1-under 71, Benedictine nearly captured its third win of the 2026 season on February 21 at the Johnny Paulk Invitational played at Jekyll Island Golf Club on Jekyll Island. 

Playing without junior standout Bear Dollander and injured junior Jack Weeks, the Cadets still finished T2 and only five strokes behind champion Aquinas High School from Augusta, Ga. Chadwell continued his hot start to the season with his second score under par in three tournaments. 

Other counting BC scores were 3-over par 75 from senior Hamp Threlkeld, junior Will Doyle and senior Heath Kulp. BC entered two two teams in the tournament, and freshman Carson Hayes and senior Hamilton Moody on the B team both finished T14 indiviudally with scores of 2-over par 74.

Richmond Hill High School senior Ledger Conley posted a score of Even par 72 to finish alone in 11th place individually. 

The Cadets' next event will be the Lowcountry Invitational March 2-3 played at May River Golf Club and Berkely Hall Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C.
