Benedictine's 2024 has a gridiron adventure in 2024 to tackle its schedule. The Cadets football schedule is one of the toughest in Georgia, depending on where you get your information. Based on calpreps.com, a website that predicts high school rankings nationwide, the Cadets have the most challenging schedule in Georgia. Then, on a local Georgia high school football internet website, the IT Next magazine, the Cadets face the second-hardest schedule in the state. Either way, it's easy to see why.

Cadet Head Coach Danny Britt's team will experience several new challenges this year. They're set to play Buford for the first time and will also travel to take on the highly regarded Archbishop Moeller from Ohio. These teams are known for their strong football programs and will test Benedictine early in the 2024 campaign.

In addition to these out-of-state games, Benedictine will face Rabun Gap-Nacoochee in the Erk Russell Classic at Georgia Southern to kick off the season on August 17th. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee is a top team from the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association who finished with a record of 13-1 last season. Rabun Gap (13-1) beat Providence Day 42-27 in a conference game in October. Providence Christian is ranked #65 in the country by the website highschoolfootballamerica.com. Last year, PC got revenge and defeated Rabun Gap 34-27 in the NC private school league championship in 2023. PC has won the title for three straight years.

Every team on Benedictine's 2024 schedule made the playoffs last year, adding to the strength of the schedule. The Cadets are up against #26 Buford, #91 Archbishop Moeller, and #258 Ware by highschoolfootballamerica.com among the top 300 high school programs in the United States. Georgia high school football had 32 teams; Benedictine is on the list and ranked 176th.

Savannah Area, high school football fans, should prepare for an exciting and challenging season as Benedictine battles through one of the most challenging schedules in high school football throughout the United States!
