The high school football season ended in December, but not for one local prep football player. It's been an incredible career for Benedictine quarterback Holden Geriner, and it will end today at the Under Armour All-American Game 2022. He threw for 397 yards and four touchdowns in his official high school career's last game when Benedictine won the State Championship on December 10, 2021.
Today in Orlando, Florida, Geriner will be calling signals in one of the most prestigious high school football all-star events, the Under Armour All-American game. Holden will be on Team Icons. How can you watch the game? Here is the information.
Where: Camping World Stadium, Orlando
When: Sunday, January 2
Time: 2 p.m. ET
TV and Live Stream: ESPN and ESPN App
The senior Cadet officially verbally committed to Auburn in February. In December, he signed his National Letter of Intent with Auburn and announced he would be enrolling at Auburn this month, January 2022.
One of the top high school football recruiting sites, 247.com, had a write-up on ranking the Under Armour All-American quarterbacks after day 3 of practice, December 31, 2021, for the game about Geriner. Here is the excerpt about Holden from Gregg Biggins, a National Recruiting Analyst for 247Sports.
QB HOLDEN GERINER (AUBURN SIGNEE)
High School: Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine Military
Geriner was just ok for us at The Opening Finals over the summer but has impressed all week long. He had a big senior year, leading Benedictine a state title, and is playing with a lot of confidence right now.
He's smooth mechanically, has one of the quickest releases in the country, and has shown surprising mobility for a big quarterback. This week, there were times when he looked like the best quarterback on his team.
It will be interesting to see how quickly Geriner sees the field at Auburn. The Tigers quarterback room is a little light, and it won't shock us at all if Geriner sees the field as soon as this coming fall.

Holden Geriner on the Right
It's all about our kids, no matter what school they play for and attend. Congrats to Holden on a great career, and good luck today. As always, you are making Savannah proud! I know I will be watching.
