Benedictine's Jones scores the Grassi Roofing/Coach's Corner Boy's Basketball Player of the Week

The Grassi Roofing/Coach's Corner Boy's Basketball Player of the Week for February 13 to 18, 2023, is Caleb Jones of Benedictine Military School.

 

Player: Caleb Jones, sophomore guard

School: Benedictine Military School

Sport: Boy's Basketball

Week:  February 13 - February 18, 2023

 

 

Highlights: Last week, on Thursday, February 15, 2023, in the semi-final matchup versus Southeast Bulloch, Caleb scored 15 points, and then on Friday, February 17, 2023, against Burke County High School, he led all scorers with 26 points in the region championship game. The region coaches also named Jones to the GHSA 4A All-region first team.

 

Coaches Comments: "Caleb is an excellent scorer and our most consistent player. He's the coach's dream player because he's even-keeled, calm, very coachable, and pure in heart. He's growing into one of the best basketball players from an area super rich in basketball talent. Caleb plays high-level AAU which ensures his name will be mentioned among the nation's elite in the coming months," said Benedictine Military School head boy's basketball coach Dr. Frank Williams.
