This week's John Carr Seaport Real Estate Prep Sports Report Baseball Players of the Week honors go to Calvary Day's Quinn Johnson for his dominant on the mound and at the plate and St. Andrew's Jack Kelley for a perfect day at the plate in a strong individual showing.

Player of the Week – Quinn Johnson (Calvary Day, Junior)

Johnson had a big week on both sides of the game. On April 1, 2025, he pitched six innings on the mound in a 10-1 region over Long Country, allowing just one hit and striking out 12 batters. At the plate for the three-game series against the Blue Tide, he went 6-for-10 with 6 RBIs and a home run, helping lead Calvary Day to key wins.

"Quinn is a hard worker that constantly works on his craft. We are very proud of not only his baseball accomplishments but also what he stands for as a young man," said Calvary Day head coach Phillip Lee.

Player of the Week – Jack Kelley (St. Andrew's, Sophomore)

Kelley went a perfect 4-for-4 with a triple, two stolen bases, and one run scored in a strong performance against region leader Pinewood Christian on April 3 in a doubleheader. Despite his team's struggles, Kelley continues to lead with effort and consistency.

"Jack has been a leader on a team that has struggled. He is a good player and had a perfect series against a good team. I'm proud of him for continuing to relentlessly work on his craft," said St. Andrew's head coach Stephen Vaughn.
