Congratulations to the Southern Motors Athlete of the week, Angie Doan!

“Angie Doan, Junior, is a first year runner. She came to tryouts in May; she told me that she just started running back in January 2022. She has since shaved over 5 minutes off of her mile pace! She worked hard all Summer during weight training, and she managed to beat her benchmark run time at 3 consecutive time trials. Angie wants to get better -- it is clear. She asks great questions, and her work ethic is quite impressive. We're so excited to see what she can do this season!” - Brooke Sims, Head Cross Country Coach

Congratulations to the Southern Motors Athletes of the week, Alexis Ghaleb & Sophie Roach!

Alexis & Sophie took 2nd place in the Hilton Head Island tournament on July 16th!

“Alexis and Sophie partnered up and began their beach volleyball journey together this spring. Braving a new sport and going against girls with years of sand volleyball experience, the ladies have embraced the grind and have come so far. This past Saturday, they almost won their first beach tournament, only losing to the #1 seed in the finals by three points. They won second place as the #3 seed, beating the second seed in the semis. Keep battling ladies!” - Michael O’Donovan, Head Beach Volleyball Coach
