Conley finishes third at SJGT event in Athens

Richmond Hill's Ledger Conley carded scores of 70-70 to finish 2-under par and finish third at the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour's UGA Golf Course Junior Classic played May 25-26 in Athens, Ga., at the UGA Golf Course.

Conley was only two strokes off the lead after the first round, but eventual champion Michael Hall from Moultrie, Ga., posted a score of 5-under par 66 during the second round to run away from the field. Savannah's Caden Hartley posted scores of 69-75 to finish 2-over par and T9 in Boys 16-19, and Richmond Hill's Patrick Mahaffey finished T9 at 4-over par in Boys 14-15 after scores of 74-72.

And in Boys 12-13, Savannah's Carson Hayes posted 80-77 to finish eighth at 13-over par.
