Conley, Saxton lead after first round at Dublin Country Club

Richmond Hill's Ledger Conley posted a score of 2-under par 70 and Guyton's Madilyn Saxon carded a score of Even-par 72, and both lead after one round at the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour's Dublin Country Club Junior Classic in Dublin, Ga.

In the Boys 14-15 age group, Conley, a sophomore at Richmond Hill High School, leads a group of three players by one stroke, including Savannah's Jack Weeks, a freshman at Benedictine Military School who fashioned a score of 1-under par 71. Saxton has a commanding five-stroke lead over a group that includes Richmond Hill's Hayden Price, who authored a 5-over par 77.

In the Boys 16-19 age group, Pooler's Braylon Royal, a senior at Calvary Day School, is T8 after a first round score of 1-over par 73.
