After birdieing two of the final three holes to get into a sudden death playoff, Richmond Hill's Ledger Conley won the Boys 14-15 age group at the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour's Dublin Country Club Junior Classic played September 30-October 1 in Dublin, Ga.
It was Conley's second SJGT victory of the season, and his second win in a row after winning the Low Country Junior Classic in Waverly, Ga., earlier in September. Conley will now lead the points race for the Player of the Year in the Boys 14-15 age group.
Savannah's Jack Weeks, a freshman at Benedictine Military School, finsished third in the Boys 14-15 age group. Weeks, 14, was tied for the lead through 17 holes but a costly bogey on the last hole knocked him out of the playoff with Conley and runner up Lee Smith from Marietta, Ga.
in other age groups, Richmond Hill's Hayden Price charged hard during the final round with a 4-over 76 but came up one stroke short. Price carded scores of 77-76 to finish T2 with Guyton's Madilyn Saxton, one stroke behind winner Nina Porcello from Woodstock, Ga.
In the Boys 16-19 age group, Savannah Country Day School senior Andrew Messale rocketed up the leaderboard with a score of 1-under 71 to finish T7. And Calvary Day School senior Braylon Royal finished T13 after solid scores of 73-76 to finish 5-over par.
