Richmond Hill's Ledger Conley, a senior at Richmond Hill High School who has signed to play college golf at Jacksonville University, is T7 after one round of the prestigious Elite Invitational being played December 16-18 on the Ocean Course at Ponte Vedra Inn & Country Club in Ponte Vedra, Fla.

Conley was Even par through 16 holes and in the top five on the leaderboard before a double bogey on the difficult 17th hole. Conley is only four strokes behind first round leader Braden Forte from Aurora, Colorado, and only Forte managed to break par for the first round in cold, windy conditions.
