Dao goes low to win Southern Showcase Junior Golf Tour Championship

Savannah's Zach Dao carded scores of 72-67 to finish 5-under par and win the Boys 11-13 age group at the Southern Showcase Junior Golf Tour Championship played October 1-2 at Sanctuary Golf Club in Waverley, Ga. 

Dao won by only two shots over Aiden Wilkinson from Baxley, Ga., who posted a score of 6-under par 66 in the final round. With his second win of the 2025 season, Dao also won the points championship in the Boys 12-13 age group. 

In the Boys 14-18 age group, Bennett Puryear from Mershon, Ga., defeated Grant Odom from Statesboro, Ga. by two strokes at the Tour Championship, but Cooper Riner from Swainsboro, Ga., captured the points championship for Boys 14-18. 

In the Boys 11-under age group, Jack Williams from Nahsville, Tennessee won the Tour Championship with scores of 70-73, and the win allowed him to edge out Brantley Lott from Statesboro, Ga., for the points championship in the age group.
