Week 4 Schedule and High School Football Rankings for Sept. 10

The high school football season is heading into Week 4. Teams have had to cancel and replace games on short notice, but the pigskin is still flying on Friday nights. In the state, having played a game or two under its belt teams in the Covid-19 Pandemic is a blessing.

While it’s still early, here are the composite state rankings compiled by the Georgia High School Football Daily Newsletter. There are six sources the GHFD newsletter uses to put together each week to see where teams are ranked. You can take a look at who might be the best teams in each of the state’s seven classifications through games of Week 3.

COMPOSITE RANKINGS

Georgia's teams ranked on a consensus of six polls (AJC – Atlanta Journal-Constitution/GHSF Daily; GPB – Georgia Public Broadcasting; SC – Score Atlanta; 680 – 680 The Fan; Max – Maxwell Ratings; and MP – MaxPreps).
