Fripp finishes 8th on PGA Georgia Section Junior Tour

South Effingham High School 2022 graduate Jacob Fripp carded scores of 75-76 to finish eighth at the PGA Georgia Section Junior Tour's South Georgia Junior Classic played at Glen Arven Country Club in Thomasville, Ga., June 1-2.

Fripp, who play collegiate golf at York College in Pennsylvania, is a two-time winner of the Savannah Junior City Amateur, a nominee for the 2022 Savannah Morning News golf player of the year, an Honorable Mention member of the Georgia High School Golf Coaches Association Class AAAAAA All-State team and a selection for the All Greater Savannah Boys Golf team. He finished  T24 at the Class 6A state tournament and was low medalist at the Area 1-6A tournament. i
