Guyton's Madi Saxton, a senior who has already committed to play college golf at the Savannah College of Art & Design, posted a score of 1-under par 70 to finish runner up at the Atlanta Athletic Club Girls Invitational played March 24 at the famed Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Ga.
Saxton finished four strokes behind winner Athena Yoo from Alpharetta, Georgia, in a field of elite high school junior golfers. Saxton and Woo were the only two players to finish under par for the event.
