Hook, Line, and Sinker at GHSA Bass Championships; RHHS Champion & Behringer Top 10 Finish

The Richmond Hill High School Bass Fishing team, led by seniors Branton Champions and Jackson Behringer, secured a spot in the Top Ten of the Georgia High School Association Bass Fishing State Championships on May 4, 2024. The Wildcat bass fishing team finished 9th out of 125 Teams with a total weight of 14.1 lb of fish in the championships at Clark's Hill Lake.

10. Churchill Harris-Campbell Patterson Oconee County 14-00

 

Last year, Champion and Behringer placed 17th. Ten teams from the Savannah Area qualified. As of this writing, only the top ten teams' totals were posted on SCORE Atlanta. This was the final GHSA event for Champion and Behringer during their high school career.
