The Savannah area is gearing up for an exciting summer of junior golf, allowing boys and girls to develop their skills, compete, and enjoy the game. Bacon Park Golf Course is leading the charge with its junior camps. At the same time, the Savannah Junior Golf Association (SJGA) adds to the excitement with a full tournament schedule across top local courses.
Bacon Park Golf Course will host its Junior Golf Camps 2025, featuring four weeks of instruction from Monday to Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The camp dates include June 2–5, June 7–10, July 21–24, and August 4–7. Kids can learn essential golf skills in a fun and welcoming environment for just $225 per participant (with sibling discounts available).

The Savannah Junior Golf Association (SJGA), presented by First Tee Savannah, returns with a tournament series for players aged 10 to 18. Kicking off May 27–28 at Richmond Hill Golf Club, the SJGA schedule includes 36-hole events at top area courses like Bacon Park (June 16–17), The Landings Club (June 22–23), Savannah Golf Club (July 14–15), and Crosswinds (July 21–22). Registration is open now at www.firstteesavannah.org, and financial aid is available.
Since 1990, the Savannah Junior Golf Association has helped kids aged 10 and up learn and play golf. The program teaches skills and allows junior golfers to compete in local tournaments at local golf courses.
