In his first start since suffering a severe injury on February 21—when a line drive hit him and broke seven bones in his face—Harding returned to the mound and delivered one of the best outings of his career. He threw five innings, allowed just two hits and one earned run, and struck out eight batters in the rubber game win over Vidalia.

"He's been itching to get back on the mound and didn't miss a beat," said Savannah Christian head coach Matt Oglesby. "This was one of his best performances at SCPS."

O'Neil came up big at the plate against Wayne County, going 5-for-11 (.455) with a double and four RBIs over the series. He has become a key contributor for the Cadets on the mound and at first base, helping lead the team through challenging region play.

"Mason has emerged as a contributor to our success on both sides of the game," said Benedictine head coach Jason Pascual.
