LOCUST GROVE, Georgia – Sophomore Gigi Williams took home the gold, and senior Amareon Jordan was one of two runners to break a Georgia Independent Schools Association record by finishing second.

Gigi took first place in the long jump (15-07.75) and fifth in the 100m dash (13.63). Amareon finished second in the 110m hurdles with a personal best (16.63) and was one of two runners to break the GISA AA 110m hurdles record.

What's unique about the Matador track team is Amareon's dad, Kevin Jordan has been a volunteer and the head coach for the past four years.
