Savannah Arts Academy freshman carded a score of 5-over par 77 on April 23 at Okefenokee Country Club in Blackshear, Ga., to finish runner up at the Area 2-AA Tournament and earn a spot as an individual in the Class AA state tournament in Columbus, Ga.
Lilja was seven strokes behind Pierce County senior Mackenzie Connell and two strokes clear of Pierce County sophmore Mollie Kate Dixon. The state tournament will take place May 19-20 at Maple Ridge Golf Club in Columbus.
