In Week 7, the winner of the Savannah Quarterback Player of the Week offensive award was passed by the club at this week's meeting on the Southside to Junior Rashawn Truell from New Hampstead High School. Truell's remarkable performance in a 38-31 loss against Benedictine secured his place as the standout offensive player.

In the region game against Benedictine, Truell demonstrated his quarterback skills. He completed 22 out of 42 passes for 508 yards and threw four touchdown passes. His impressive statistics and critical plays on the field were instrumental in New Hampstead's down by one point with three minutes to go in the game.

For the season, Rashawn has been consistently outstanding. In six games, he has completed 103 passes out of 173 attempts for 1759 yards with 18 touchdowns and only three interceptions.
