No games will be played tonight as school districts are handling the after-effects of Hurricane Helene. No power at the schools forced the cancellation of the rest of the Week #7 Savannah area prep football schedule.

GAMES POSTPONED or CANCELED

Tonight’s rescheduled games from Friday, September 27, Effingham County vs. Lakeside Evans and Evans vs. South Effingham, are postponed with no makeup date set yet.

The Savannah High at Portal, Greenbrier at Bradwell, Liberty Co. at Southeast Bulloch, and St. Andrew's School at Robert Toombs Christian Academy games scheduled for tonight have been postponed, and there has yet to be a makeup date.

Benedictine was scheduled to start Region 1-4A play at Ware County in a game initially scheduled for Friday, September 27, then moved to today, September 30. However, due to the storm's impact in Waycross, Georgia, the game has been moved to a date to be announced.

Richmond Hill's Region 1-6A matchup with visiting Tift County, initially rescheduled for Saturday, September 28, at 2 p.m., has been moved to October 18.

Savannah Christian's game at Blessed Trinity in Roswell, Georgia, was canceled, and no makeup game will be played.

The Christian Academy canceled Bethesda Academy's game at Christian Academy, and Bethesda was declared the winner by forfeit.
