Where did the list come from?

Georgia's most significant in-season source for high school football coverage is the Georgia High School Football Daily's electronic newsletter. The GHSF Daily website, launched in 2021, is an online warehouse for the publication's e-newsletters and publishes news items occasionally, particularly during the offseason. It was founded in 2009 and currently has over 23,000 subscribers. Georgia high school football fans will find all the high school football news on this website.

Volunteer researcher Steve Slay developed the list above of 4,631 former Georgia high school football players who started the season on college football rosters in 2021, a total of 4,631.

Slay's job compiles data from more than 800 college football teams, ranging from Division I NCAA institutions to Junior Colleges of America for the GHSFD. He's been scouring college football rosters for Georgia athletes for the past 15 years.
