Calvary Day sophomore Page Stewart has been named the Grassi Roofing Flag Football Player of the Week after a strong game at quarterback.
In a 26–7 win over Statesboro on October 29, Stewart completed 21 of 34 passes for 271 yards, threw two touchdown passes, added two extra point
completions, and picked up six rushing yards. Her ability to lead the offense and make timely plays helped push the Cavaliers forward during a key stretch of the season.
Calvary head coach Anna Barron praised Stewart’s growth and poise:
"Page improves game to game! It is encouraging to watch a player make a mistake and bounce back right away. She can see the whole field and knows just when and where to get the ball to her teammates."
So far this season, Stewart has shown consistency and leadership. Through 11 games, she’s completed 183 of 316 passes for 2,060 yards, averaging 187.3 passing yards per game with a 58% completion rate. She has thrown 26 touchdown passes, averaging 11.3 yards per completion. Her command of the offense continues to grow with every snap, according to her coaches. Page ranks as the #11 quarterback on MaxPreps.com per teams that post stats in the state of Georgia.
Just a 10th grader, Stewart is proving she can lead with maturity and make big-time plays when her team needs them most.
