Richmond Hill's Sahaj Patel posted a score of 1-over 73 to highlight the first round of the First Tee Savannah junior tournament being played July 21-22 at the Deer Creek course at the Lsndings Club.
Patel leads the Boys Club Tee Division by six strokes over Savannah's Alex Dao. in the Boys Champions Division, Savannah's Jack Weeks and Richmond Hill's Kyle Price both finished with 7-over par 79 and lead Savannah's Quentin Brooks by one stroke entering the final round.
In the Girls Medal Division, Savannah's Maya Lilja-Vazqueze posted a score of 8-over 80 to lead Savannah's Ainsley Sheffield by nine strokes. And Richmond Hill's Shayna Patel leads the Girls Deer Creek Divsion.
