Brooks has been a participant starting his journey with The First Tee of Savannah as a young boy. He recently came back a few years after the chapter relaunched in 2021 as a participant and volunteer in 2023.
“Quentin is one of the hardest working participants that I’ve ever seen. He spends hours each day working on his game using every opportunity that he has around him. He also is just a phenomenal person that works well helping participants of any level across our chapter’s classes. He is a rare combination of talent and humility paired with a willingness to help others with compassion and kindness,” said First Tee-Savannah Chapter CEO John Parker.
Brooks was surprised with his selection at a meeting to introduce First Tee-Savannah’s new mentorship program that partners with Watson Links, a program that combines golf and mentorship to help grow the next generation of golfers. Brooks was not expecting the surprise at all as he was surrounded by First Tee-Savannah’s executive staff, board members, coaches, volunteers, other participants, and their families.
“Quentin, Congratulations on this amazing opportunity. We are all thrilled to have you represent our chapter and look forward to seeing you shine in Pebble Beach this fall!” John Parker: First Tee-Savannah Chapter CEO
