Results from US Kids Golf Spring 2023 tournament at Hilton Head Lakes

The US Kids Golf Savannah Tour continued the Spring 2023 season at Hilton Head Lakes Golf Club in Hardeevile, S.C., on April 16, and the field of junior golfers was challenged by high winds and poor course conditions.

Despite the conditions, JJ Johnson from Bluffton, S.C., managed to post a scoe of 3-under par 33 to win the Boys 9 age group, and David Herndon from Moutrie, Ga., posted a 2-under 34 to win the Boys 10 age group. Other highlights included Maya Lilja from Savannah, Ga., carding a 5-over par 77 to win the Girls 13-14 age group.

Boys 6-Under: Grant Stapleton (Charleston, S.C.) 48 +12

Boys 7: Lou Kivett (Richmond Hill, Ga.) 45 +9

Boys 8: Brantley Lott (Statesboro, Ga.) 40 +4

Boys 9: JJ Johnson (Bluffton, S.C.) 33 -3

Boys 10: David Herndon (Moultrie, Ga.) 34 -2

Boys 11: Jack Semeraro (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) 79 +7

Boys 12: Sahaj Patel (Richmond Hill, Ga.) 82 +10

Boys 13-14: Jack Weeks (Savannah, Ga.) 79 +7

Boys 15-18: William Prosser (Statesboro, Ga.) 81 +9

Girls 9-10: Georgia McDonald (Richmond Hill, Ga.) 41 +5

Girls 11-12: Shayna Patel (Richmond Hill, Ga.) 105 +33

Girls 13-14: Maya Lilja (Savannah, Ga.) 77 +5
