Conley, Lilja-Vazquez win at SJGT at Sanctuary Golf Club

Richmond Hill's Ledger Conley, a junior at Richmond Hill High School, carded played nearly perfecg golf for two rounds to post scores of 68-65 to win the Boys 16-19 age group at the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour's Lowcountry Classic played August 30-September 1 at Sanctuary Golf Club in Waverly, Ga.

Conley carded nine birdies and an eagle without making a bogey during two rounds to finish at 11-under par and five strokes better than runners up Bowen Kicklighter from Statesboro, Ga., and Phillips Swift from Macon, Ga. Savannah's Hamp Threlkeld, a junior at Benedictine Military School, posted scores of 72-71 to finish 1-undar par and T4.

Savannah's Maya Lilja-Vazquez, a freshman at Savannah Arts Academy, won the Girls 12-14 age group after posting scores of 77-76 to finish 9 over par. It was her first win on the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour and qualified her to play in the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour's Tournament of Champions being played December 7-8 in Point Clear, Alabama.

In the Boys 14-15 age group, Savannah's Jack Weeks, a sophmore at BC, posted scores of 75-72 to finish T3 at 3-over par. And in the Girls 15-19 age group, Guyton's Madi Saxton finished second with scores of 73-72 to finish 1-over par.
